Wrest Point Reopens Regines for 40th Birthday Celebrations
Wrest Point will celebrate its 40th birthday in February with four weeks of celebrations, culminating on February 10, the official birthday date.
As part of the party, Wrest Point will be reopening Regines night club for four weeks only, on Friday and Saturday nights, highlighting the music (and fashions!) from a different decade each week.
“Regines first opened in 1975, so nearly everyone in the Tasmanian community has had a Regines experience,” Wrest Point General Manager Mike Davey said.
“We wanted to give people the chance to reminisce and re-live the fun times they had there, and what better time than to celebrate our 40th birthday.
“We already know of people who are getting groups together to go to one of our restaurants for dinner and then head to Regines to dance the night away, just like old times.”
The celebrations will kick off with the ticketed VIP opening night on January 18 featuring former Tasmanian DJ Emma Peel. Tickets are $60 including a two-hour beverage package and nibbles, and can be purchased from the Wrest Point Service Centre on 1300 795 257 or via www.tixtas.com.au Doors will open from 10pm.
